The Jewish Embodiment Lab
Where movement, mysticism, and tradition meet
What we do
We are a home for embodied Jewish practice—a space where movement, mysticism, and tradition meet. Here, ancient wisdom lives not only in text but in breath, gesture, and presence.
The Jewish Embodiment Lab is a laboratory for aliveness—a place to move through Jewish time with curiosity, reverence, and heart.
-
Somatic movement, breathwork, dance, and ritual practices rooted in Jewish spiritual traditions.
-
Torah, mysticism, and Jewish texts explored through the body, not just the intellect.
-
Classes, workshops, retreats, and seasonal gatherings cultivating connection and shared practice.
Why embodiment?
Judaism is not only a tradition of ideas—it is a tradition of practice, rhythm, sensation, and relationship. The Jewish Embodiment Lab exists to support a Judaism that is lived through the body: felt in breath, movement, ritual, and presence.
Through embodied practice, we cultivate resilience, spiritual depth, and connection—to ourselves, to one another, and to the ongoing unfolding of Jewish life.
Ways to Practice With Us
The Sabbath Dance
Monthly gatherings that welcome Shabbat through movement, music, and rest. We shake off the week and then slow down together, honoring the body's wisdom and the week's transition into sacred time.
An embodied Kabbalat Shabbat Experience
Seasonal Immersions
Deep-dive experiences that move through the Jewish calendar—from the breath work of Elul to the embodied liberation of Passover. Each season becomes a portal for transformation.
